We have had quite an emotional roller coaster with our Zo-dizzle lately. We have had her since she was a pup, and she is 4.5 years now. We have a neighbor that HATES her (and us, and kids, and life in general). He has made it hard on us (and others and her) for a good year and a half giving us costly tickets forcing us to take her everywhere that we go (the system isn't fair, and she is a great dog). For a while we weighed our options on whether it is best for all to keep her or not. We put an ad on craigs list and had so much interest in her that then we couldn't get ourselves to pick a home. We were all a wreck for a few days, until we decided that it wasn't right. She is a part of our family and she loves us, and we love her. We will fight whatever we need to to keep her with us.
Today, I found this picture and it melted my heart.
So, to the uptight dog hater, you wont win. Zoey is sticking around for quite a few more good years. :)
And we are so happy.

What a jerk! As long as you are abiding the leash laws and noise ordinances and any kind of association rule, he doesn't have a case. Way to stand your ground! What is it with crazy neighbors?! We have them too! Good luck!
That sucks. My Dad had a dog and a neighbor like that, well she eventually moved (as in 2 years after the dog died) so stay strong! By the way, I went to walgreens looking for a bump it, and couldn't find one...IN UTAH for crying out loud. I can get mine huge (hair school helped) but sometimes brushing out the tangles afterwards it rough.
That's obnoxious. People shouldn't be able to tell you what to do with YOUR dog on YOUR property. Like Kelsee said, as long as it's in keeping with noise oridances, and even then, who cares if a dog barks here and there, thats what they do! Good luck with it all.
Totally Sarah! A dog not barking is like a kid that doesn't cry. Just doesn't happen. I think we should TP his house like the old days! WHO'S WITH ME?!!!!
Oh this melts my heart! I remember you sharing some instances that happened last year and I was hoping things got better...Way to stand your ground and fight the power!!!! Seriously some people are alive only because it is illegal to kill them! ;) ;) Unfortunately these neighbors probably would have complaints about people anywhere they may live...Although dropping them off on a Deserted Island might be just the perfect place for them!

I would keep her too! You haven't done anything wrong and shouldn't have to worry about being too loud! When I was little we had a dog named Puffer and the dog catcher hated him and harrassed my parents and he was the best dog ever! Some people just have nothing better to do I suppose! Good luck!
